ARA290 (Cibinetide) is an experimental, non-hematopoietic erythropoietin-derived peptide studied for its potential role in tissue protection, inflammation, and cellular repair.

Unlike erythropoietin itself, ARA290 is designed to selectively engage the innate repair receptor (IRR), a receptor complex involving the erythropoietin receptor and CD131, without stimulating erythropoiesis.
